The NIAP is working in a number of areas in Nepal, such as support for profiling in the UK and online on the internet the work of arts groups/organisations in Nepal, but also in developing specific projects.

The first of these has been in the Pyuthan – Gaumukhi area of Western Nepal with an NIAP funded and NIAP co-facilitated arts awareness and arts skills teaching workshop that took place on the 18th-19th December 2014 at a Pyuthan secondary school: Gaumuki Area Arts & Cultural Heritage Project
