Deepak has an established record for film work in Nepal. He was the initial principal reviewer of the Nepal International Arts Programme, initiated by Alan Mercel-Sanca, and first committed member of the NIAP project team when the initiative began in the late summer of 2013.

Deepak & Chris at BPC NIAP 2015 project planning meetingHis role involves being a primary ambassador for the programme’s supportive international level profiling  in the areas of fashion, theatre, modelling. In the summer of 2014 in conjunction with Alan he provided invaluable support for the NIAP in the UK through a number of events and key meetings, ranging from a formal meeting at the Embassy of Nepal, London, to being the supportive presenter at an NIAP presentation to teachers and curricula leads at the Bournemouth & Poole College art and design department, which is currently developing a highly important and innovative programme of arts activity in support of the NIAP, and involving almost 250 students.

Deepak is also a developing artist, with particular interests in the field of portraiture which link to his interests in modelling and fashion (he is currently with Nepal’s prestigious ‘Ramp on the Catwalk’ Modeling School).
